Building a technical foundation for developing SAN solutions using IP storage networking technologies
Course Length: Two Days
Course Type: Interactive Lecture format supplemented by case studies
Course Benefit Summary
Information Technology professionals who need to move their information infrastructures into the next generation need to know how to manage and integrate IP-based storage technologies.
Course Description
IP Storage Networks introduces and explains the IP networking protocol and iSCSI storage networking protocol to systems and storage professionals. The recent release of the iSCSI standard has opened the door to the next generation of IP-based storage networks that can ensure interoperability and integration with existing skills and infrastructures.
This course provides students with a thorough understanding of the capabilities and applications of this new generation of storage network technologies. Students are provided with an overview of TCP/IP and Gigabit Ethernet, a close look at the strengths and capabilities of iSCSI and other IP storage technologies such as FCIP and iFCP, and a strong grounding in the details of the iSCSI standard.
Registration
This course is offered at our local office in Ottawa during the evenings and weekends. Marketbridge also offers onsite training anywhere in North America. Contact us to discuss our onsite rates to further reduce your Total Cost of Ownership for these training investments.
