Prerequisites
Ideally, students should have a general networking background with at least 6 months experience with any operating system. Course prerequisites include
ComTIA's Network+ or A+ courses, however, this is not a requirement as both novice and intermediate students find this course
helpful in gaining a better understanding of Linux.
What Students Will Learn
Our Linux+ 5 day Boot Camp will prepare students to write CompTIA Linux+ exam (XK0-002). Students taking this training will learn the fundamentals of the Linux operating system including how to configure Linux system services, how to manage a Linux system in a networked environment, and finally, how to manage the servers a Linux system provides.
A maximum of 12 students per class is permitted and students are provided with access to their own workstation, 1 class manual and CompTIA study guides. Also included in the course costs, are student daily treats and beverages.
The course goal is to assist students in obtaining the necessary knowledge and skills to help them pass the Linux+ exam and obtain Linux+ designation.
